About me!
I first played Fate/Stay Night in June of 2024. I haven’t been a Fate fan very long, but it’s not an exaggeration to say the series has consumed me.
But why dedicate a website to Gilles de Rais? I don’t know!
I was first introduced to Gilles de Rais when I watched Fate/Zero. He made me INTENSELY uncomfortable (he still kind of does), and I ended up dropping it a couple episodes into season 2. It wasn’t until I started watching it again that I realised it was Gilles dying that made me lose interest (?). I’m not sure. That feels true though.
My brain has latched onto Gilles very hard, embarrassingly so. After tearing through the F/Z light novel and manga, I ended up at F/GO for more Gilles content. Since his Caster version is a story banner exclusive character, it took me a while (and hundreds of SQ) to finally get him. During that time I was trying to get him, I was in a severe depressive episode, which only lightened up when I finally got him. Quite embarrassing.
Outside of the Gilles thing, I have an Artoria Dollfie Dream Sister (the FGO release) whom I treasure very dearly. She’s my first BJD, and I’ve been wanting a Dollfie Dream since I was a kid, so she’s something I treasure very dearly. I also have her Nendoroid doll, which I take photos of. I have a couple of cute outfits for her too. The main Fate merch I collect are the Fate/Grand Order Duel figures, I like them a lot. I have a few keychains, mostly of Fate/Stay Night characters, and some of the Sanrio collaboration plushies.
